Nicole was such a pleasure to work with. Despite the weather in Avalon that day (a hurricane warning) Nicole was all smiles when we showed up on her wedding day. Nicole originally wanted a down style, but when I walked in she said to me “I already know what your going to say” then followed with “do what you think is best”…which is what I did.
At trial we discuss with our brides in detail about how weather can change plans, dictate hair styles and needs to be factored in when planning your “overall look” for your big day. We can add extensions and try our hardest to prep the hair but in reality …a hurricane ? !!!
Despite these discussions at trial, Nicole was very clear she wanted half up & half down. She did allow me to do a few more looks at trial but was pretty clear about her “look” for her big day. So when she saw me on her wedding day she had already shifted her vision and was open to whatever style would withstand the weather. Funny story Nicole shared with us, she met her Fiance in Avalon during Hurricane Sandy, she laughed about the irony as if it was meant to be…
The photographers from Twisted Oak Studio came in and started to ask her about photo options, she told them she wanted to embrace the day and go outside for photos despite the hurricane warning, she was on board for whatever photos they wanted to take.
I was so happy she embrace her wedding day and enjoyed went with the flow, her hair and make up held up remarkable with the high winds and rain and her photos are unreal!
Thanks for sharing your beautiful images with us. You were such a fantastic Bride and we are so happy we were a part of your wedding day!
